Al’s Crape Myrtle Festival – Sherwood , OR
August 14 – 23, 2009
I can’t say that I’m much of a crape myrtle fan myself. After living in the south, I’m used to them being called ‘crap myrtles’. But, they seem to be much more behaved in the Pacific Northwest. Plus, I love the peeling bark some varieties exhibit. Take some time and visit Al’s to see ones that work well in our climate. Take advantage of the demonstrations, wine and garden celebrities present.
