Sorticulture Garden Arts Festival – Everett, WA
June 12–14, 2009
Beloved festival uniting art, plants and gardens in a celebration of creative outdoor living.
(Side note: I will be attending this event for the first time with other garden girlies. Can’t wait!) 

DeVine Visions: The Hardy Plant Study Weekend – British Columbia, CA
June 19–21, 2009
An exuberant weekend for plant lovers! Tours, garden party, workshops, plant sale, great food and new friends.

Willow Furniture Crafting – Village Green Resort, Cottage Grove , OR
June 19 – 20
Create a willow chair or table to take home. Preregistration is required.
$209 deluxe, $189 standard (double occupancy); includes one night, dinner for two, breakfast and guided garden tour. All materials for making willow chair or table included. $125 includes class fee and one piece of furniture to make and take home.

Wine and Wags – Garden World, Woodburn, OR
June 20 – 21
First annual event to support pet adoption with the cooperation of the Oregon Humane Society and other local pet shelters. 
Stroll through acres of trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses while visiting the nursery. Adopt a pet and receive a $25 Garden World gift card.

2009 Behind the Scenes Garden Tour – Portland, OR
Saturday, June 27, 2009 10am – 4pm
Tour private gardens designed by local Association of NW Landscape Designers non-profit organization. Tickets are $20 and available through the ANLD website. Proceeds support local landscape student scholarships at Portland and Clackamas Community Colleges.

Seeding Our Future Garden Tour & Art Show – Tigard, OR
Saturday, June 27, 2009 10am – 4pm
Tour 6 private gardens located throughout Tigard, Tualatin and Sherwood. The highlight garden is Bella Madrona, a 5-acre, art-filled, collector’s garden featured in homes+gardens northwest and Country Living Gardener Magazine. Bella is the inspiration for Pink Martini’s song “The Gardens of Sampson and Beasley”. Cost $20. Tickets available at local garden centers.

Washington County Master Gardener Home Garden Tour – Portland, OR
Saturday, June 27, 2009 10am – 4pm
SevenWMCGA members open their unique sustainable gardens on the West side of town.
